A small PR that enables VerifiableConsumer to use regex subscription.

Doesn't VerifiableConsumer belong to public APIs? We expose it via kafka-verifiable-consumer.sh, so I guess the answer is YES ... which entails a KIP :)

Closed the PR as there's nothing that really needs --regex. We can start a KIP when it's needed
