Docs only: the docs/SAFETY-AUDIT.md record for v3.15.0, written after the tag as the release checklist requires.

  • Four-corpus audit on the tagged commit 383e2df against a fresh v3.14.5 baseline (8d8a9c1), both clean trees, 5,078 files: 0 changed / 0 improved / 0 regressed / 0 lateral; all four fidelity metrics identical.
  • The audit sees the change: 243 files, all detected us-ascii, moved Converted → Unchanged with no backup; every one was byte-identical before.
  • Reproduction: both executables rebuilt from a fresh clone of v3.15.0 match the published ones; the driven hash matches; both report 3.15.0; both archive hashes match GitHub's digests.
  • Limits: unsigned by decision (eleventh release); no accessibility spot check (tenth); tooltips and the Validate status not seen live; the self-contained executable is still not driven.

Four-corpus audit on the tagged commit against a fresh v3.14.5 baseline,
both from clean trees: 0 changed, improved, regressed or lateral outcomes
over 5,078 files. EC's own result moved for 243 us-ascii files from
Converted to Unchanged with no backup, all previously byte-identical,
which is the release's intended change seen by the audit.

Both published executables reproduce byte-for-byte from a fresh clone of
the tag, the driven hash matches, both report 3.15.0, and both archive
hashes match GitHub's digests. Records the unsigned build as a decision,
the tenth release without an accessibility spot check, and that the new
tooltips and Validate status were not seen in a live window.
