| ### What is the gas cap on Ethereum Sepolia after Glamsterdam? | ||

| Ethereum Sepolia activated the Glamsterdam hard fork on October 6, 2026. Glamsterdam introduces [EIP-8037](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-8037) state gas, which the bundler doesn't fully support above the [EIP-7825](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-7825) transaction gas cap of 16,777,216 gas. To stay under it, the bundler enforces these limits on Ethereum Sepolia: |

Distinguish execution gas from total transaction gas
For Glamsterdam transactions that use the new state-gas reservoir, 16,777,216 is only the EIP-7825 execution-gas ceiling, not the total transaction gas cap: EIP-8037 permits tx.gas up to 2^32−1 so additional state gas can exceed that boundary. Calling this a transaction gas cap obscures the exact capability that the bundler currently lacks and can lead readers to mistake an Alchemy limitation for a protocol-wide limit; describe it as the execution-gas cap instead.
