Summary

  • Embeds a scripted ~50 s screen recording of the UI tour at the top of the README (GIF inline, MP4 link).
  • The rendered assets live on the new orphan media branch (demo.mp4, demo.gif), so they never enter main's history, a tag, or a release archive. They are linked via raw.githubusercontent.com/.../media/..., so re-recording is a force-push to that branch with stable URLs.
  • Adds tools/demo/: a Playwright script that drives the installed Chrome through the tour (preloaded queries, database filter, sorting, fingerprint drawer, SQL editor, schema tab, keyboard shortcuts, dark theme), an ffmpeg encoder, and a README describing how to re-record and publish.

Recorded against the movr sample export, so no customer data appears on screen.

Test plan

  • raw.githubusercontent.com URLs for demo.gif and demo.mp4 on the media branch resolve
  • npm run demo in tools/demo records and encodes end to end against ./workload-analyzer --port 8099 workload-export.zip
  • tools/demo/out and tools/demo/node_modules are gitignored; CI only runs in web/ and the Go module, so the new folder is untouched
  • README renders the GIF inline on GitHub

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Link a scripted screen recording of the UI from the README. The rendered
MP4/GIF live on the orphan `media` branch so they never enter main's
history or a release archive; tools/demo holds the Playwright script and
ffmpeg encoder used to re-record it.
