The owner authorized read-only validation with the existing profile. Record aggregate selected-tree import, offline eight-format retrieval/export, interruption recovery and retained local context; keep all IDs, queries and per-document evidence in cli-private.
The research checker now selects exact release-specific export and memory-search contracts for 0.7.0, 0.8.0 and the aligned 0.8.1 candidate. Preserve historical 0.7 checks rather than accept multiple response shapes permissively. Document that fresh npm 0.8.0 lifecycle checks pass while broader discovery fails because Core and Drive resolve incompatible Base instances.
Validation: 10 guard tests; 0.7.0 and aligned 0.8.1 candidate each pass 8 initial + 8 repeat + 7 lifecycle groups. The aligned candidate also passes 41 CLI + 3 MCP cases. Targeted Markdown and staged lint/secrets passed. No credentials/source text in this PR; public live results contain totals only.
