I have an NVIDIA card with two monitors on HDMI-0 and DP-0.
After installing linux-vdd, I go through the NVIDIA setup process through the UI. I select DP-5 as my virtual monitor.
On restart, only my real HDMI-0 monitor and the virtual DP-5 monitor are enabled. DP-0 is missing and the monitor is blank.
I fixed this by editing the config file created by linux-vdd: /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/99-linux-vdd.conf
In the ConnectedMonitor line, I added DP-0 which seemed to be missing.
The line went from
Option "ConnectedMonitor" "HDMI-0, DP-5"
to
Option "ConnectedMonitor" "HDMI-0, DP-0, DP-5"
After another restart, this fixed the monitor.
Now the linux-vdd GUI believes that DP-0 is one of its own virtual monitors, but that's ok.
