Feature Request Description
We want to use the select component, but struggle with empty values.
In our opinion, the select component should support empty values. When the select component is used on a new form with optional properties, we want the user to be able to leave the property empty.
Proposed Solution
The component should support a property named "placeholder" (similar to input) which is used, when the bound value is empty.
The list items should NOT include said placeholder (or an empty item), just items included in the slot.

We are trying to migrate old components to UI5, but struggle with some incompatibilities. We would rather use a ui5 native component than develop our own, especially, when touching these basic ones.
