Summary
Rust-only 0.3.1 security backport based on v0.3.0. Upgrade p256/crypto-bigint for RUSTSEC-2026-0387 and optional hickory DNS for RUSTSEC-2026-0119. Remove rand from the default dependency graph. Other SDK versions remain 0.3.0.
Preserves 0.3.0 DER JWT/delegation signatures, PEM/JWK encodings, key IDs, saved TOFU pins, and resolver selection. Fixed public-only vectors come from unmodified 0.3.0. Rust source callers using public P-256 types must update to p2560.14; MSRV is now1.89.
This intentionally excludes main's unreleased protocol-v0.4 changes. The version-consistency check explicitly verifies the Rust-only backport's SDK versions.
Verification
Workspace all-features tests, Clippy with warnings denied, formatting, Rust1.89 all-features check, package publication dry-run: pass. cargo audit --deny warnings: clean.
Publication of this compatible Rust security release was explicitly authorized by the maintainer. Publish after review/merge, then regenerate AgentSniff's registry-only lockfile and retest.
