26 Sep on vadelma: after #71/#72 the reply played (aplay exit 0) but petrus heard nothing. The Jabra Speak2 40's PCM control was at 53% (-21 dB). At 93% he heard it.
_speaknow sets the USB card's PCM (or Speaker) to 90% and unmutes before playback; Bluetooth targets are untouched. Two new tests (one fails on main). 172/172.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
