Backend developer focused on REST API design, data access, and access control: the parts of a system people rely on without ever seeing them.

I build backend services in PHP/Symfony. Most of my hands-on experience comes from a 5-month internship at Devoteam (Lisbon), working on enterprise cybersecurity platforms under ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and CREST standards: production REST APIs, role-based access control, and a large, test-covered codebase with code review and CI/CD.

My core stack is PHP and Symfony, but what I care about is backend engineering itself: clean REST API design, testing, and secure access control, skills that carry across languages. I also work with Java and Spring Boot.
