Summary

Full visual redesign of landing + gallery into one bespoke system, per the viewport-HUD direction.

  • Hero = a Blender viewport: CSS perspective grid floor with Blender's red-X/green-Y origin lines; HUD corners carry the mode indicator, axis gizmo, the pack counts styled as Blender's statistics overlay (count up on load), and smoke-gated on 4.5 LTS + 5.1 · exit 0 as the render status.
  • Editorial one-pager: no more collapsed cards — examples (as CI-artifact render cards), all 12 skills, the 6 rules, all 17 snippet chips, templates, and install steps are visible in one scroll with benefit-led headers.
  • System: Blender panel grays, one accent (selection orange #ff8c19, used as the card hover outline exactly like Blender's selected-object outline), axis colors only in the gizmo/origin lines. Barlow Condensed display (self-hosted, +44 KB woff2), Inter body, JetBrains Mono HUD. Dark only; theme toggle retired. Topbar/footer mirror Blender's topbar/status bar across landing and all gallery pages.
  • Dropped the changelog panel (entries only link to release notes) in favor of a Releases link in the status bar; removed now-unused site.json theme keys; rewrote docs/gallery/DESIGN_NOTES.md for the new system.

Testing

Driven in a browser at 1280px and 390px: hero fits and scrolls correctly on mobile (nav collapses to Install/GitHub), copy button writes the clone command, stats animate and settle at 12/6/17/2/4, gallery chips filter, lightbox opens/ESC-closes, detail pages render highlighted source. Reduced-motion users get final values with no boot animation.

The landing page and gallery now share one bespoke design system built
from Blender's own UI vernacular. The hero is a viewport: perspective
grid floor with the red-X/green-Y origin lines, HUD corners carrying the
mode indicator, axis gizmo, pack counts as a statistics overlay, and the
smoke-gate claim as the render status line. Sections are Blender panels,
the topbar is Blender's topbar, the footer is its status bar.

Editorial one-pager replaces the collapsed-card layout: every skill,
rule, snippet, and example is visible on one scroll, with benefit-led
headers and the CI-artifact claim as the thesis. Barlow Condensed
(self-hosted) joins Inter and JetBrains Mono; selection orange #ff8c19
is the single accent; axis colors appear only where they encode axes.
Dark only — the theme toggle is retired. The changelog panel (which
only linked to release notes) is now a Releases status-bar link.

Verified at desktop and 390px mobile: copy button, stat count-up boot,
chips, and lightbox all work; reduced-motion skips the boot sequence.
