Is this project still maintained?

Dear MLServer maintainers,

I would like to get clarity on the maintenance status of this project. The reasons I'm asking are:

• there were no releases for some time. the usual release cadence was arount 100 days . now the latest release is 280 days old
• last commit is 3 month old
• there is lots of PRs open without any reaction. including PRs from dependency bots

if this project is no longer maintained, it would be nice to have a statement around that. If you are just struggling and need help with the project, having that as a statement would also be nice.

Dear Tom,

Because some of the last commits here have been mine, I feel an obligation to the community to share as much as I can. Seldon, the company that maintained (amongst other products) MLServer, is under liquidation.

The entity that will acquire or has acquired Seldon's assets is responsible for making a decision with respect to the continued maintenance of this project, and for announcing that decision. I have not yet seen any public announcements regarding this.
