Summary

  • standardize flat per-call projectDirectory, configPath, and instanceName inputs across project/config-aware MCP tools
  • return compact resolution provenance and persist it for debugger sessions and log watches
  • retain specialized directory overrides with project-relative defaults and deprecated aliases where required
  • remove the retired Storefront Next MCP toolset and its supporting code, tests, content, and docs
  • update user-facing MCP documentation and agent skills

Validation

  • pnpm run test:agent
  • pnpm run typecheck:agent
  • pnpm run lint:agent
  • pnpm --filter @salesforce/b2c-dx-mcp run test:e2e
  • pnpm run docs:build
  • pnpm --filter @salesforce/b2c-tooling-sdk run check:tooling-index

The MCP changeset is minor, not major.
