Drop the FFT and Feature finder screenshots; keep the text#36
Merged
Conversation
The synthetic test fixtures make junk subjects for those two shots — no real Bragg peaks or convincing features. The README and gui.md sections stay; the browse, viewer, and STM-background screenshots remain, and the generation script no longer renders the dropped pair. Follow-up to #35 per review feedback: the FFT viewer and Feature finder screenshots came out poorly because the synthetic test fixtures are junk subjects for them (no real Bragg peaks or convincing features). This removes those two images from README and docs/gui.md — the explanatory text stays — and trims the corresponding sections from
scripts/generate_gui_screenshots.py. The browse, image-viewer, and STM-background screenshots are unchanged; the script reruns cleanly and regenerates exactly those three.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
