NexDrop official branding replacement — Phase 2

Source of truth: the supplied official artwork (1254×1254 PNG). Every asset is a deterministic crop/downscale of it — no redesign, redrawn vector, or approximation.

Changes

Surface Change
Adaptive launcher foregrounds (mdpi→xxxhdpi) Official N-mark band (with its motion elements), scaled so its diagonal fits the 66/108 safe circle (corners 130px ≤ 132px radius at xxxhdpi) — no mask can clip it. Launcher-specific simplification per the approved brief: at launcher size the wordmark/tagline would render ~2–6px (present but unreadable), so the distinctive symbol carries the launcher; the complete artwork with wordmark + tagline ships on web and in-app hero surfaces
@color/ic_launcher_background #070A10 → #FFFFFF (the artwork's own background — zero recoloring)
logo_mark.webp (in-app header + QR badge) Official N-mark
welcome_hero.webp (welcome screen) Complete official artwork incl. wordmark + PRIVATE. DIRECT. FAST. tagline
PWA icons icon-192/512, icon-maskable-512 (safe-circle fit), apple-touch-180, icon.svg favicon embedding the official mark raster (never redrawn)
public/nexdrop-logo-official.png Master artwork, byte-identical to the supplied file
assets_src/logo/nexdrop-logo-full.png Official artwork
Version 1.4.4 (17) → 1.4.5 (18) per the linear release convention
tests/branding.test.ts 28-check regression suite: resource geometry, adaptive-icon wiring, manifest references, pinned official-artwork fingerprints (old-icon detection), version policy; wired into npm test + a dedicated android-build.yml gate before assembleRelease

Untouched (verified)

applicationId com.nexdrop.ndt1, transfer protocol, pairing/QR/WebRTC flows, UI design, signing config. The web header wordmark is typographic (unchanged), matching the app name.

Checks executed

npm test — all 22 suites PASS (incl. new branding suite, 28 checks) · tsc --noEmit PASS · eslint PASS (0 problems) · launcher geometry verified (content corners 130 ≤ 132px safe radius).

Release note (after approval)

Merging this PR triggers android-build.yml (paths: android/**), which builds the SIGNED production APK (CN=NexDrop Release, v2+v3), verifies signature/badging/integrity, runs the startup smoke on an emulator, and publishes the immutable nexdrop-android-v<sha> GitHub Release. The marketplace catalog update follows in the platform repo after the artifact is verified.

Not merged — no APK built or published yet. Awaiting approval.

Single source of truth: the supplied official NexDrop artwork (1254x1254
PNG: 3D ribbon N-mark in cyan/teal + navy + coral/orange, 'NexDrop'
wordmark, 'PRIVATE. DIRECT. FAST.' tagline). No redesign, no redrawn
vector, no approximation: every asset is a deterministic crop/downscale
of the supplied art.

- android adaptive foregrounds (5 densities): distinctive N-mark band
extracted from the official artwork, scaled so its bounding-box
DIAGONAL fits the 66/108 safe circle (content corners 130px <= 132px
radius at xxxhdpi) — no launcher mask can clip it. Launcher-specific
simplification approved per the Phase 2 brief: at launcher sizes the
wordmark/tagline would be ~2-6px (technically present, unreadable), so
the recognizable symbol carries the launcher while the complete
artwork ships on web + in-app hero surfaces.
- ic_launcher_background: #070A10 -> #FFFFFF (the artwork's own
background; the mark keeps its white backdrop, zero recoloring).
- logo_mark.webp (in-app header + QR badge): official N-mark.
- welcome_hero.webp (welcome screen): complete official artwork with
  wordmark + tagline.
- PWA: icon-192/512, icon-maskable-512 (safe-circle fit), apple-touch
(180), icon.svg favicon embedding the official mark raster (never
  redrawn).
- public/nexdrop-logo-official.png: master artwork, byte-identical to
  the supplied file.
- assets_src logo source replaced with the official artwork.
- version 1.4.4/17 -> 1.4.5/18 per the linear release convention.
- tests/branding.test.ts: 28-check regression suite (resource geometry,
adaptive wiring, manifest icon, pinned official-artwork fingerprints
for old-icon detection, version policy); wired into npm test and a
  dedicated android-build.yml gate before assembleRelease.

Checks executed: npm test (all 22 suites incl. new branding suite)
PASS, tsc --noEmit PASS, eslint PASS (0 problems). Package identity,
transfer protocol, pairing/QR flows untouched.
