OskarasM/README.md

Oskaras Margevicius

Full-stack and gameplay engineer. I work on the parts of WebGL that break in production: resource lifetime, accessibility under continuous motion, and keeping several clients agreeing on one scene.

Open source

Three repositories, each owning one hard part of production Three.js. Every number on every demo links to the file that produced it, and every measurement is committed data rather than a claim.

  • three-dispose-guard - ownership-aware GPU resource disposal for Three.js and React Three Fiber. On npm, published over OIDC with provenance. Demo
  • scene-narrator - gives a moving 3D scene a navigable accessibility tree without spending the frame budget on it. Verified against NVDA. Demo
  • realtime-3d-room - a shared 3D room on Supabase Realtime, and a measured account of why presence cannot carry position. Demo

Client work

Since February 2026 I have run Zoltrack, a one-person web development studio, alongside a full-time Computer Science teaching job. Five production applications, 700+ commits, all live.

  • atelier3d.co.uk - React Three Fiber storefront with Stripe checkout on Express. 395 commits
  • luckyclaw.co.uk - React 19 storefront for a Birmingham arcade brand, built mobile-first from 375px. 122 commits
  • stokestudenthomes.co.uk - Next.js lettings platform: Sanity CMS, Zod-validated API routes, Upstash rate limiting, Playwright and axe in CI. 83 commits
  • zoltrack.com - the studio's own site. 64 commits
  • ecaccounts.co.uk - React 19 and Tailwind 4 marketing site for a London bookkeeping practice. 60 commits

Product

  • PDF Batch Desk - the studio's own paid product. Splits a combined PDF pack into individually named documents on your own device, with nothing uploaded. Free demo in the browser; the paid edition is one offline HTML file. Product Hunt

Games

  • GradEX 2025 Showcase Winner. Technical lead on Miasma Ashlung, C++ and UE5, with AI built on EQS and pathfinding.
  • Dissertation: an adaptive boss battle system, measured at 91.7% player satisfaction across user testing.

Currently teaching GCSE and A-Level Computer Science.
