Summary

Document observed physical-gateway and own-firmware-oracle v3 behavior for WHO 13 DIMENSION 27 (empty-WHERE machine descriptor / model name, *#13**27##), keeping published OpenWebNet syntax, physical gateway captures, and emulated firmware outcomes strictly distinct:

  • Integration Gateway dimensions (functional/who-13-integration-gateway/dimensions.md, ownkb:section:d000036:s000018):
    • Record that DIMENSION 27 is not defined by the preserved classic SCS/TCP WHO 13 specification, the ZigBee WHO 13 registry, or the canonical MyHOME Suite 3.5.38 OPEN.db functional model.
    • Document the two sanitized read-only physical gateway capture fixtures in OpenWebNet-HA/MyHOME at eca7e51091ef75a2c10b74d0305fc9a8708624e4:
      • Physical F461 Firmware 2.0.11 (WHO 13 DIMENSION 15 = 200, diagnostic WHO 1013 DIMENSION 1 OBJECT_MODEL = 134, lines 6358..6411): command-session *#13**27## returned *#13**27*70#52#54#49## ("F461") followed by *#*1## (ACK) and mirrored *#13**27*70#52#54#49## on the event session.
      • Physical MyHomeServer1 Firmware 3.87.13 (WHO 13 DIMENSION 15 = 200, diagnostic WHO 1013 DIMENSION 1 OBJECT_MODEL = 67, lines 1300..1353): command-session *#13**27## returned *#13**27*77#121#72#111#109#101#83#101#114#118#101#114#49## ("MyHomeServer1") followed by *#*1## (ACK) and mirrored the same value frame on the event session.
    • Document the four command-socket outcome classes across the 12 emulated gateway Firmwares in OpenWebNet-HA/own-firmware-oracle who13-identification v3 (836843800a25def1d14f40aa82d09dd0bf901db0, line 25, zero daemon crashes):
      • F450 020010, F454 020051, F459 020105, F460 020012, F461 020011, and MH202 010024: reply=ack, verdict=out, own:*#13**27*72#79#83#84## ("HOST" factory fallback).
      • F453 010100 and F453AV 030014: reply=ack, verdict=out, own:*#13**27*66#84#87#69#66## ("BTWEB" recovery configuration).
      • H4684 020054: reply=nack, verdict=silent, - (clean refusal, unlike DIMENSION 10, 11, and 12 which crash H4684 020054 and MH200 020102).
      • MH200 020102, MH200N 010108, and MyHomeServer1 028206 (empty staged descriptor string): reply=-, verdict=out, own:*#13**27*#*#*1## — concatenating an unterminated *#13**27*# directly with *#*1## so a ##-delimited stream reader absorbs the command-session ACK into a single malformed frame and never observes a standalone *#*1## delimiter.
    • State the resulting client protocol cautions: bound command-session *#13**27## reads with explicit timeout and recovery policies, and treat generic fallback strings ("HOST", "BTWEB") and *#13**27*#... empty-descriptor artefacts as non-identifying for unique product discrimination.
  • Evidence review (project/review/who13-dimension-27-model-name.md): Record exact Git blob OIDs, SHA-256 digests, line counts, inspected line spans, harness conditions, and scope exclusions.
  • Machine KB (knowledge/): Allocate collision-free IDs strictly above main and open PR #52 (ownkb:section:d000036:s000018, ownkb:chunk:r007941, ownkb:entity:topic:d000036-s000018, ownkb:source:s001202..s001215, ownkb:claim:c074171..c074186, and 14 findings in knowledge/inputs/evidence-reviews.json), update test_build_infrastructure.py and test_claim_framework.py (+1 chunk, +16 functional claims, +1 functional claimed section), add knowledge/tests/test_who13_dimension_27.py, and preserve all existing released IDs and all 66,466 Device claim records unchanged.

Evidence, provenance, and limits

  • Physical captures are pinned to OpenWebNet-HA/MyHOME commit eca7e51091ef75a2c10b74d0305fc9a8708624e4 (source_inspection on sanitized public_capture fixtures; no physical hardware was operated during this documentation integration).
  • Emulated firmware results are pinned to OpenWebNet-HA/own-firmware-oracle commit 836843800a25def1d14f40aa82d09dd0bf901db0 (OpenWebNet-HA/own-firmware-oracle#71, oracle_version=3, full simulated-PIC harness, reset=each on F450 020010 and reset=0 on the other 11 targets, declared settle_ms=3000).
  • Write support (*#13**#27*...##), non-ASCII encodings, maximum string length, user-configurable alteration on all models, and physical H4684 / MH200 hardware behavior remain explicitly unresolved.

Companion PRs: OpenWebNet-HA/own-firmware-oracle#71, OpenWebNet-HA/OWNd#139.

Git storage policy

In accordance with project/review/checks/README.md and git-storage-baseline.json, the seven Machine KB artifacts exceeding 5 MiB whose bytes changed in this rebuild (knowledge/id-registry.json, knowledge/inputs/claim-context.json, knowledge/inputs/id-registry.json, knowledge/inputs/reference-records.json, knowledge/llm/llm-corpus.md, knowledge/reference/entities.jsonl, and knowledge/retrieval/chunks.jsonl) are tracked via Git LFS in .gitattributes alongside claims.jsonl and claim-records.json. project/review/checks/git-storage-baseline.json, devices/, and sources/manifest.yaml are untouched.

Validation

  • python build.py & git status --porcelain: clean deterministic build.
  • python check.py (two clean rebuilds, byte-for-byte determinism, manifest, schemas, cross-artifact consistency, references, provenance propagation, text hygiene, and privacy gates): PASSED.
  • python knowledge/tools/validate_privacy.py: PASSED (21 generated artifacts and metadata surfaces scanned).
  • python project/review/checks/check_git_storage.py --head HEAD --base origin/main & test_git_storage.py (11 tests): PASSED.
  • python project/review/checks/check_esg.py . & check_ecv.py .: PASSED (objective_failures=0).
  • python project/review/checks/check_artifact_manifest.py: PASSED (840 artifacts).
  • python -m unittest discover -s knowledge/tests -v (227 tests, including test_who13_dimension_27.py, test_build_infrastructure.py, and test_claim_framework.py), test_schema.py (8 tests), and test_ci_catalogue.py (12 tests): PASSED.
  • python evidence/validate_evidence.py (5/5) & pytest evidence/tests (55 passed): PASSED.
