• The ratchet's --base is that tip's merge-base with the head, which is exactly the PR's own change.
• With fetch-depth: 0, origin/main is present.

• The NoneAbsence and BroadSwallow are real debt on main. This PR stops misattributing them; it doesn't excuse them.
