A quoted line keeps a visible `>` marker and renders green (GreenText replaces Rich's magenta bar element in the transcript console), and the conversation parser turns soft breaks inside a blockquote into hard breaks so every quoted source line stays its own line. The greentext core rule walked every token of every message, counted quote depth through tag string compares and rewrote softbreak tokens by type string. It is deleted. Blockquote open/close and softbreak join the existing ProjectTokenRule family: the innermost open block (JoinedLines or QuotedLines) answers what a source newline draws as. GreenText's "green" literal is replaced by GreenTextRole, resolved through the line theme like every other transcript role. Blockquotes in the transcript now draw as greentext.
markdown_preparation.py:GreenText(BlockQuote)is registered forblockquote_openin the transcript console, beside the fence override. It marks each quoted line with>instead of Rich's▌, and it is styledgreen(the terminal's ANSI green, so the theme palette applies) instead ofmarkdown.block_quotemagenta.markdown_links.py: thegreentext_linescore rule turns soft breaks inside a blockquote into hard breaks. Without it,> be me\n> fix toadcollapses into a single line,be me fix toad.Check: a real
MarkdownStyleConsole.preparerun, then a Rich render, gives> be me/> fix toad/> ship greentexton separate lines. Every segment is stylegreen(SVG fill #98a84b), and paragraphs outside the quote are unchanged. No new test.Net +28 across 2 files.
