Smoke only collects the suite, so two PRs on 2026-10-21 reported a touched test green while it failed (2510, 2560) and nothing hosted ran it. touched-tests runs the added or modified test files of the change against the base, with the pinned native package prepared (plan 9.5). The new touched-tests job runs on pull requests and merge groups. It runs every
tests/**/test_*.pythe change adds or modifies, after preparing the pinned native package and its host dependencies the way ci.yml does. It isn't in the required checks yet: once it has run green on real PRs, it goes in the ruleset.Generated by Claude Code
