This was obtained from Valve's kernel sources and was marked as FOR-UPSTREAM there. Perhaps I should have kept that part in the pull request. With this driver, and some udev rules to set permissions, I have the RGB LED strip on the front of a 2026 Steam Machine working in Bazzite. Steam's Big Picture Mode works to control the LEDs once the knobs in /sys/class/leds are available to it. |
