Why
ChatGPT left OpenAdapt out of a broad answer about repetitive GUI automation. The site didn't give people or assistants a clear map from that question to the product.
What changed
This adds a practical guide and ten comparison pages. They cover UiPath, Power Automate, Playwright, Selenium, AutoHotkey, APIs, scripts, browser agents, computer-use agents, and record-and-replay tools. Each page says where OpenAdapt fits, where the other approach fits, and which evidence supports the distinction.
The assistant-facing files, sitemap, structured data, and public links expose the same map. The site also records assistant referrals as one privacy-safe boolean. It doesn't retain the referrer or campaign value.
Hosted checkout now requires the exact managed-browser offer contract saved in Stripe:
offer_contract=openadapt-cloud-managed-browser-v1,substrate=browser, andmonthly_run_cap=10000. It also verifies the $500 monthly price and refuses any legacylifecyclekey.Desktop downloads accept the signed Candidate v2 release channel. A complete channel-selected Candidate is preferred. Complete Beta and Experimental releases remain read-only historical fallbacks, and the page uses lifecycle-neutral labels.
