… name Flink reserves set and unnest and defines lower, so the generated surfaces register the MEOS functions under the name the catalog states for Flink and Spark (altSqlName): spanLower for lower(floatspan), setMake for set(integer[]), setUnnest for unnest(intset), temporalUnnest for unnest(tint), geoTransform for transform(tgeompoint, integer). The SQL surface test calls them by these names, unquoted, and checks that lower over a floatspan is not a MEOS function in Flink, unqualified or qualified by the catalog. The module test checks the same with the module loaded, listed after core or before it: lower stays Flink's own and spanLower answers from the module. The test also states two queries of the flights dashboards: a temporal point transformed to ETRS89-LAEA (SRID 3035) keeps its instants and takes the new SRID, and stboxOverlaps, the function of && between a temporal point and the box expandSpace gives another, answers true for a box widened past the distance between the two trips and false for one short of it.

Flink reserves set and unnest and defines lower, so the generated surfaces register the MEOS
functions under the name the catalog states for Flink and Spark (altSqlName): spanLower for
lower(floatspan), setMake for set(integer[]), setUnnest for unnest(intset), temporalUnnest for
unnest(tint), geoTransform for transform(tgeompoint, integer). The SQL surface test calls them by
these names, unquoted, and checks that lower over a floatspan is not a MEOS function in Flink,
unqualified or qualified by the catalog. The module test checks the same with the module loaded,
listed after core or before it: lower stays Flink's own and spanLower answers from the module.
The test also states two queries of the flights dashboards: a temporal point transformed to
ETRS89-LAEA (SRID 3035) keeps its instants and takes the new SRID, and stboxOverlaps, the
function of && between a temporal point and the box expandSpace gives another, answers true
for a box widened past the distance between the two trips and false for one short of it.
