Flora Expansion is a vanilla-friendly nature and survival mod that expands Minecraft's environments with new plants, forest-floor details, foods, resources, utility blocks, and natural progression.

It focuses on small additions that make forests, fields, deserts, farms, and exploration feel richer while remaining compatible with Minecraft's existing style and survival gameplay.

   

JEI is an optional integration.

Install JEI alongside Flora Expansion if you want additional in-game information for special mechanics such as litter gathering, crates, baskets, crops, fruiting plants, and other interactive content. Flora Expansion works normally without JEI.

Flora Expansion currently includes the following features:

• Leaf Litter and Pine Litter with layered placement and gatherable natural resources
• Pine Cones, Pine Nuts, Twigs, and other forageable forest materials
• Throwable pine cones and pebbles with their own interactions
• Pebble Patches and Pebble Blocks for natural terrain decoration
• A complete Flax progression with seeds, fibers, flowers, linen thread, linen cloth, linen blocks, carpet, and flax bales
• Blueberries and Strawberries with harvestable plants, foods, jams, juice, pies, cookies, and other recipes
• Fruiting cherry and oak trees with harvestable Cherries and Apples, plantable pits and cores, and fruiting leaves
• A reusable Basket for harvesting crops and carrying gathered items
• High-capacity Crates for storing large quantities of a single item, including movable tied crates
• Wooden Buckets for water, milk, powder snow, fish, axolotls, tadpoles, and even temporary lava transport
• Giant Cactus content with cactus wood, thorns, flowers, fruit, decorative blocks, equipment, and other desert additions
• Foods such as Forest Snack, berry mixes, jams, juices, pies, and other nature-themed recipes
• Rustic utility and decoration such as the Twig Ladder and other natural building materials
• Natural world-generation additions that integrate Flora Expansion's content into suitable environments

Flora Expansion is designed to add more detail and interaction to Minecraft's natural environments without replacing the vanilla survival experience.
