…ependency, update other dependencies, remove warnings

Summary

Mcp 2.x was blocked by langchain-mcp-adapters, which every example agent used and which pins mcp<2.0.0. That package is now archived upstream, so it will never support mcp 2.x and waiting wasn't an option.

LangChain has since moved MCP support in-tree as the langchain.mcp namespace, which requires mcp 2.x. Adopting it turns the blocker into a reason to upgrade.

• Migrated to mcp 2.x, lifting the <2.0.0 cap from 0.2.1 (chore(deps): Update mcp requirement from <2.0.0,>=1.30.0 to >=2.3.0,<3.0.0 #140)
• Moved all four example agents off the archived adapter to langchain[mcp]
• Updated the example MCP servers for mcp 2.x
• Folded in the other open dependency PRs: pandas (chore(deps): Update pandas requirement from >=3.0.6 to >=3.1.0 #142), scikit-learn (chore(deps): Update scikit-learn requirement from >=1.3.0 to >=1.9.1 #144), termcolor (chore(deps): Update termcolor requirement from >=2.0.0 to >=3.3.0 #143), pytest-asyncio (chore(deps-dev): Update pytest-asyncio requirement from >=1.4.1 to >=1.4.1.post1 #141)
• Removed the deprecation warnings printed by make unit

Verification

• Tool extraction output is identical to before for all four examples
• Unit tests and integration tests pass, lint clean
• Full /smith pipeline (steps 1–4) on two examples:
  • call-for-papers-mcp — 101 cases, scorecard 71/77 correct, 91.4% coverage
  • employee — 123 cases, scorecard 111/117 correct, zero false allows, 89.2% coverage

Checks

• make ci passes (lint, Rego lint, license headers, build smoke)
• make test passes (policy scorecard — needed if policy behavior changed)
• CHANGELOG.md updated under ## [Unreleased] (if user-facing)
• PR title uses a conventional prefix (feat:, fix:, test:, docs:, chore:, or refactor:)
• Commits are signed off for the DCO (git commit -s)
