I can't reproduce this with haxe 4.3.7 and nightly hxcpp (on linux). It's possible the unresolved symbols were due to a stale objects from a build without the debugger, which would be fixed by #1453.
EDIT: I tested msvc with haxe 4.2.5 and hxcpp 4.2.1 which are versions from around when this was reported, and I still couldn't reproduce with a clean build. I'll put it down to stale objects
