Student engineer and robotics programmer at the Webb School of Knoxville, Class of 2028.
I work on FRC competitive robotics, embedded control systems, and engineering software, and especially projects involving autonomous systems, sensors, motor control, CAD/CAM, and real hardware.
CAD Engineering Intern - Formall Inc.
Summer 2026
- Designed an approved automated twin-sheet plug-assist platform in SolidWorks, including its rail-guided base, pneumatic drive, welded reach structure, and scissor lift.
- Calculated mechanism loads, motion, gear geometry, and hard-stop locations; produced the fabrication drawing package for laser-cut, welded, and CNC-machined parts.
- Built and commissioned a Modix BIG-60 large-format 3D printer and developed SolidWorks macros for drawing creation, stock sizing, and material callouts.
Controls/Systems Director - FRC Team 1466
2022-Present
- Lead development of robot software and autonomous systems in Java/WPILib, including trajectories, AprilTag localization, PIDF-controlled mechanisms, and command-based sequencing.
- Built a shared coordination layer for autonomous and driver-controlled operation; maintained pose estimates within approximately 0.05 m and 0.1 rad during operation.
- Lead and teach a six-student programming team through technical lessons, debugging, and competition preparation.
- Contributed to the team’s 2025 FIRST Engineering Inspiration Award, 2026 Judges Award, and FRC World Championship qualification.
Co-Captain - FTC Team 9934
2022-2024
- Co-led a 15+ member team to the 2024 Tennessee FTC State Championship.
- Developed autonomous and teleoperated control code while coordinating CAD, programming, testing, and match strategy.
