…s API bc3 is the composition of the two validated pipelines: the stream is a u32 prefix with the bc1 substream size, then the bc1 stream of the color half, then the bc4 (1 channel) stream of the alpha half. a block_stride parameter was threaded through the bc1 / bc45 internals (strided block views), with the bc1 / bc4 / bc5 stream formats left byte-identical. the stats API (bcp_stats / bcp_get_stats, bcp_stats_bc5 / bcp_get_stats_bc5, stream_bits_since, the *_bits counters, the stats_constant_image test) was removed from the whole library. tests: 4 synthetic bc3 roundtrips + 2 images/bc3 1024x1024 maps (2.7149:1 average), cpu-only by design; readme documents the bc3 section.
