This PR improves the developer experience (DX) and accessibility of the project's documentation. Since this is an infrastructure project, the README.md serves as the primary interface.

💡 What: The UX enhancement added

  • Enhanced Architecture Diagram: Upgraded the Mermaid diagram to use semantic shapes (stadiums for workloads/clusters, hexagons for specialized schedulers) and added a clear title.
  • Visual Accessibility: Added dashed borders to subgraphs to clearly delineate architectural layers.
  • Informative Linking: Updated the Genesis Conductor Engine reference to be a link with a descriptive title attribute for screen readers and hover tooltips.

🎯 Why: The user problem it solves

  • The previous diagram was basic and didn't distinguish between different types of system components, making it harder to parse.
  • Users needed a quick way to access the Genesis Conductor Engine website with proper context.

♿ Accessibility

  • Added title attribute to the external link for better screen reader support.
  • Improved visual contrast and delineation in the architecture diagram using subgraph styling.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 10530720841448721005 started by Igor Holt (@igor-holt)

Code Review

This pull request updates the README.md file by enhancing the Mermaid architecture diagram with a title, new nodes, and styled subgraphs, and by linking the Genesis Conductor Engine reference to its official website. The review feedback recommends formatting the Mermaid frontmatter title across multiple lines to ensure standard compatibility and correct rendering.

Important

The consumer version of Gemini Code Assist on GitHub is being sunset. Starting June 18, 2026, new organization installations will be blocked, and all code review activity will officially cease on July 17, 2026.
For more details on the timeline and next steps, please review the Help Documentation.

The Mermaid frontmatter for the title should be enclosed in triple-dash (---) delimiters on separate lines. A single-line format like --- title: ... --- is not standard YAML frontmatter and may fail to render correctly in GitHub or other Markdown parsers.

P2 Badge Fix malformed Mermaid title frontmatter

This Mermaid frontmatter is malformed: Mermaid requires the opening --- delimiter to be on its own line, then title: ..., then a closing ---. With the current one-line --- title: ... ---, the README renderer treats it as diagram content before graph TD, so the architecture diagram fails to parse/render instead of showing the enhanced diagram.
