Fold #172's terminal-close fix into 1.9.0, where the Linux entry from #158 now holds every time, leaving [Unreleased] empty as Release requires. Add entries for the README's AI-agent sections (#165) and the Scarf image on the walkthrough's first step (#159), and name the Inspector in the section's preface. USAGE_DATA.md described only the README's pixel, whose opt-out (block remote images in a browser) does not apply inside VS Code, so it now names the walkthrough's too and says turning telemetry off stops neither. Brings the 1.9.0 section up to date with the PRs merged since #167, so Release can run.
[Unreleased]. The 1.9.0 Fixed entry from End a gemdb run when its terminal tab closes on Linux #158 already says closing the tab ends the run, and End a gemdb run on every terminal close, by answering the hangup from a watcher #172 makes that hold every time. Release'svalidatejob requires[Unreleased]to be empty.gemdbstarts the database safely) brought their own entries. The preface now names the Inspector.vsce 4 checked against the release path:
publish --skip-duplicatestill prints "is already published" and "already exists", whichpublish-to-registry.shmatches on.verify-patstill exists. Its new credential-migration prompt applies only to stored keychain credentials, not theVSCE_PATthe workflow uses. The release jobs run Node 24.19, above vsce 4's minimum of 22.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
