I'm from Costa Rica and I like building things fast and seeing if they work. Most of what I make mixes AI, web and crypto, and a lot of it started at a hackathon at 3am.
I study AI Engineering at ULACIT. On the side I run LaunchLab, a small software agency I founded.
- afterlife: a dead man's switch on Solana. If you stop checking in, your crypto goes to your heirs. 🥇 Won the Dev3Pack Global Hackathon with it.
- latamstat: a dashboard of Latin American indicators with an AI chat that queries the data. 🥈 2nd place at the Databricks x ULACIT hackathon.
- settld: split expenses with friends and settle up with real USD₮ transfers.
- aicommit: a CLI that writes my commit messages, because I'm bad at them.
- errordeals-cr: hunts for pricing mistakes in Costa Rican online stores.
I use Claude Code a lot, so I started writing my own tools for it:
- shipui: a plugin for shipping web interfaces that don't look AI-generated.
- Small skills that keep the agent on track: scope-lock, cost-governor, spec-before-code, decision-log, context-surgeon, parallel-by-default, ui-scout, component-contract and pixel-enforcer.
- 🛠️ Mostly TypeScript, Next.js and Python. Rust when Solana is involved.
- 🪙 Into crypto and DeFi since 2021.
- 🌎 I speak Spanish, English and German.
