I see your status 'busy'. Is there any way to speed up this update? ex. some donation 😉
I use this plugin for years in CLion and IDEA, and now I have to keep IDEA on old version to keep it compatible with EmmyLua.
If there is no chance you can fix it in next weeks, I can try to learn how plugins work in IntelliJ and try to update it myself.

Thanks for making this available. At a first glance it looks well, but unfortunately it seems that "find usages" is completely broken.

Please note that I do not maintain this plugin, so I do not understand the causes of the related issues. It might be that the person who packaged this did not properly upgrade from the latest version. I notice that its base version number is 1.3.6, whereas EmmyLua is actually at version 1.4.x now. I would strongly suggest you use vscode-emmylua or zed-emmylua instead, both of which are rewritten and maintained by me. I also maintain intellij-emmylua2 and intellij-sumnekolua, which are based on the language server—all of these are available to try on IDEA 2026.2.
