📍 Current: terminal; no prerequisite PR, no shared file changes. Follow-up: remaining snapshots and safe branch cleanup. Out of scope: renderer behavior and unresolved historical branches.
Rollback: revert only this PR's listed configuration snapshots.

Closing the partial activation proposal: existing active-mirror identity tests require all applications and mode selectors to change atomically. Local reproduction: baseline 32 passed; partial snapshot 2 failed/30 passed; complete Dark snapshot 32 passed and full suite 1119 passed. No tests or checks will be weakened. Preserving branch contents pending one coherent atomic replacement.
