[2.0] bug: module root are NOT unusable  #1140

Description

@jkowalleck

modules currently define type: null in the assumption that this would make their usage impossible.

this is wrong. these module roots are usable, and usable - their value is just asserted to be null.

to fix this, insteado of using a type: "null" it shall be used a constriant rendering them unusable: not: {}.

alternatives:

  • not: true would also prevent usage, but this might not be properly implemented in all tools.
