• replaces the legacy page UI with the complete chat-first desktop shell
• ships durable threads, missions, archive, deep ingest, mock interviews, job search, scheduling, profile editing, and supervised application filling
• makes runtime selection provider-aware without hard-coding one CLI
• adds retained browser workflows for mail, messages, profile reads, relationship sourcing, and ATS status sync
• implements the new CareerRat website, README, update checks, desktop menus, text brand icons, and the square option 10 favicon
• batches application approval gates into one Apply to N jobs action and keeps final submission user-controlled

QA completed

• 3,542 root tests: 3,528 passed, 14 skipped, 0 failed
• 521 web tests passed and the production web build completed
• website tests, website build, docs build, Biome, Qlty, Knip, placeholder lint, tracker verification, doctor, and gitleaks passed
• fresh fake-resume onboarding and evidence extraction
• scoped job search verified for US remote and New York City local roles
• durable deep-ingest, mock-interview, archive, schedule, thread, and whole-section profile-edit flows
• retained Playwright application fill against a fake ATS, including optional blank handling, with final submit intentionally not clicked
• native Electron verified at 1280x860, resizable, fullscreen, and restored
• visual parity checked against the supplied handoff HTML and screenshots

Release notes

This is intentionally one large product-cutover PR. CodeRabbit depth is skipped because it refuses PRs over 100 files, per the agreed landing plan. Hosted CI and required human review remain required.

The macOS release will be signed, notarized, stapled, and Gatekeeper-verified by the release workflow. Windows remains an unsigned CI artifact until the external SignPath Foundation approval is granted; this PR does not claim signed Windows distribution.

PR #205 is already merged. This finishes the cutover on the v0.15 release line.
