Welcome to the SGP Package Wiki. This wiki supplies technical details associated with the calculation of student growth percentiles and percentile growth trajectories using the R Software Environment in conjunction with the SGP Package.

Broadly, SGP analysis of longitudinal student data takes place in two steps:

  1. SGP Data Preparation
  2. SGP Data Analysis

Those familiar with data analysis in general are aware that the bulk of the effort in the above two step process lies with Step 1: SGP Data Preparation. With clean data, the SGP Package makes it easy to calculate, output, and visualize the results from SGP analyses. 😄
