Summary

  • Advance every Docs Agent WP Codebox workflow, validation, fixture, and contract reference from v0.12.16 to v0.12.17.
  • Require the canonical compact reviewer transcript upload: one trusted normalized transcript ref, controlled projection path, verified source/projection digests, and payload/path/source redaction.
  • Document the transcript privacy boundary without changing Docs Agent package revisions or byte digests.

How to test

  1. Check out this branch in a fresh Automattic/docs-agent clone.
  2. Run WP_CODEBOX_DIR=/path/to/wp-codebox-v0.12.17 php tests/validate-docs-agent-packages.php.
  3. Run php tests/validate-external-native-package-sources.php.
  4. Run WP_CODEBOX_DIR=/path/to/wp-codebox-v0.12.17 php tests/validate-wp-codebox-run-agent-task-contract.php.
  5. Run php tests/repair-docs-links-smoke.php.
  6. Run AGENTS_API_DIR=/path/to/agents-api php tests/native-agent-import.php.
  7. Run actionlint .github/workflows/*.yml.

Backwards compatibility

The reusable workflow continues to use the same public interface and package bytes. Its WP Codebox dependency advances to v0.12.17, which adds a reviewer-safe canonical transcript projection.
