The performance pair.
v2.5.0(ab7a8bd6, the 1957th) and001b1caa(the 2549th, the last kernel change before the release), measured together on 2026-10-18. Both come from one run ofbenchmark_key_commits.sh, on one machine with nothing else on it. The new section sits above the 2.5.0 pair inversion_performance_control.md.ParseHard−98%,SolveEasy−95%,SimplifyHard−47% andSolveHard−16%.SolveEasy's six recorded steps predict −94.9%, measured −94.88%.Derivateis +5.5% (53,239 → 56,190 B; +5.2% time). It came in five gate-baseline steps of +0.7% to +1.9%, each inside the gate's 3%. The largest step is A sum, difference, product, quotient, conjunction, disjunction, exclusive disjunction, union or intersection caches the flat list of its operands, and SimplifyHard allocates 5.2% less #1426, which caches the operand list on each flat node.
