Hi, thanks a lot for the great project and all the work behind Wave Terminal!
I'd like to ask if you have any plans to support a Simplified Chinese UI or localization.
Many developers in China are very interested in modern terminal tools like Wave, but the
current English-only interface and documentation can be a barrier for some users. Having
Simplified Chinese support (or at least a basic i18n / localization framework) would help:
- Make Wave more accessible to Chinese-speaking developers
- Lower the learning curve for new users
- Potentially grow the user base and community in China
I understand that maintaining translations takes time and effort, so even having:
- A simple language switch (e.g.
en / zh-CN)
- A way for the community to contribute translation files (JSON/YAML, etc.)
- Or documentation on how to add a new language
would already be very helpful.
If there is already any plan or roadmap for localization/i18n, I’d be happy to hear about it.
If you’re open to it, I’d also be interested in helping with Simplified Chinese translation.
Thanks again for your work on Wave Terminal!
