shortDescription: Spaced-repetition flashcards that live in your own Solid pod.
longDescription: >
Solid Memo is a flashcard app that schedules each card with
spaced repetition (FSRS-6, or SM-2 when the learner chooses it):
it shows a card again just before you would forget it. Your
decks, cards and study history are not kept
on Solid Memo's servers but in your own Solid pod, an online data
store you choose and control. Any app that speaks the same open
vocabulary can read them, and you can move them to another pod
provider or stop using Solid Memo without losing anything.
Solid Memo comes with a library of ready-made decks, each with its
own open license and its sources, and with courses that mix short
lessons with multiple-choice questions. Solid Memo Studio, part of
the same app, lets authors manage decks and cards in bulk and
write, check, try and publish their own decks and courses.
The app is a static web page with no server-side code, so anyone
can run their own copy on any static web host. Its vocabulary and
SHACL shapes are published with it, every data format is
versioned, and older data is brought up to date in place.
