Rendering of CDS code blocks look a bit broken

Rendering of CDS code blocks in tutorials look like they're highlighting illegal characters (the opening and closing braces), but they're correct.

Root cause

The red-braced CDS blocks are Chroma's SQL-lexer error tokens (<span class=err>{), not a font or CSS problem.

Hugo's render-codeblock.html maps ```cds → the Chroma SQL lexer as a placeholder (Chroma ships no CDS lexer) and tags the wrapper data-lang=cds. The SQL lexer treats CDS braces as illegal → the red err tokens. The community CDS formatter — scripts/highlight-cds.ts (Shiki + cds.tmLanguage.json) — is supposed to run as a post-build pass and replace those blocks with proper CDS highlighting.

That pass runs in build:all (local builds + deploy.yml), so a local build looks correct. But rebuild-content.yml — the canonical DEV/PROD content publish-to-HANA path — builds Hugo directly (/tmp/hugo --source hugo --minify), not build:all, and never ran build:highlight. It was dropped from this path pre-#591 (noted in content-drift-check.yml). So every content rebuild republished the Chroma-SQL fallback straight to HANA — which is exactly what was live.

Evidence: the live cap-status-transition-flows page had 0 Shiki blocks / 15 class=err, while the same page built locally via build:all had 298 Shiki spans / 0 language-sql. Same failure class as the island-manifest / vendor / explore / joule steps previously retrofitted into this workflow.

Fix — #1661 (merged)

• rebuild-content.yml: re-added the Shiki highlight step after the Hugo build (runs in all modes).
• rebuild-content-qa.yml: same, pointed at hugo/public-qa.
• scripts/highlight-cds.ts: accepts --dir for the QA publishDir, and now fails the build if the data-lang=cds marker is present but no block was highlighted — so this can't silently regress again.

Status

Fixed on main. It will not be visible on PROD until tonight's deploy + content rebuild — the merge corrects the pipeline but doesn't retroactively re-highlight content already published to HANA. Closing after that lands.
