In addition to #59, I've noticed a few other things:

• No pre-commit-config - we should add some checks style: add pre-commit configuration #70
• We should add static typing feat: add strict mypy static typing #71
• We should test on 3.15, since it's in the RC phase ci: add Python 3.15 to test matrix and classifiers #69
