From 14b0870a209d42cae84f181392a77d5f732bcc47 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Andre Destro Date: Tue, 1 Sep 2026 10:47:26 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] fix(ios): align ion-ios-camera version range across SwiftPM and CocoaPods Package.swift declared `from: "2.0.0"`, which SwiftPM reads as `>=2.0.0 <3.0.0`, while CapacitorCamera.podspec declares `~> 2.0.0`, i.e. `>=2.0.0 <2.1.0`. SwiftPM consumers therefore picked up new IONCameraLib minors automatically and CocoaPods consumers did not. Switching to `.upToNextMinor(from: "2.0.0")` makes both package managers resolve the same range. Patch releases of the library still flow through without a plugin release; minors now require an explicit bump here, which is how this plugin has tracked the library so far (#46, #50, #66, #77). Verified with `npm run verify:ios` (xcodebuild clean build, generic iOS): BUILD SUCCEEDED, 0 warnings, `swift package resolve` pins ion-ios-camera 2.0.0. --- Package.swift | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/Package.swift b/Package.swift index 5553edb..c5ea350 100644 --- a/Package.swift +++ b/Package.swift @@ -11,7 +11,7 @@ let package = Package( ], dependencies: [ .package(url: "https://github.com/ionic-team/capacitor-swift-pm.git", from: "8.0.0"), - .package(url: "https://github.com/ionic-team/ion-ios-camera.git", from: "2.0.0") + .package(url: "https://github.com/ionic-team/ion-ios-camera.git", .upToNextMinor(from: "2.0.0")) ], targets: [ .target(
