Problem
OpenMeters should not insert itself into the audio stream with a virtual sink.
Proposed behavior
PipeWire already supports tapping an existing graph, but migrating to this better approach will require a significant amount of work.
Additional context
The purpose of this issue is to document the failings of the current method and so that I have some place to reference when pushing changes in the future. This has been my primary focus recently, so hopefully I can get this issue resolved entirely within the coming days/weeks.
