Add Sentry support for HapiJS -@sentry/hapijs

All the goodies you expect out of a Sentry SDK:

• Error monitoring and crash reporting OOB
• Performance monitoring support
• Trace propogation of sentry-trace/baggage
• Release health support

All powered by our Node JS SDK - @sentry/node.

Do you mean SolidJS or hapi?

We have a hapi project and we use @opentelemetry/instrumentation-hapi together with @sentry/opentelemetry-node and most of the things are working. In particular performance monitoring and trace propagation are working. What wasn't working was when we use opentelemetry span.recordException(err) the error wasn't showing up as a sentry issue. But may be we haven't setup something correctly.

We don't have support for this just yet with the SDK, but we will add this soon!

For now, you can just call Sentry.captureException for this

If you ask my opinion, it is too much work to develop integrations with every Node.js framework out there. Instead focus on a solid support for OpenTelemetry and rely on its extensive instrumentation support for the majority of frameworks.

As a developer, I would also prefer to develop generic OpenTelemetry support in my application and then configure which provider to use instead of being forced to integrate a specific API and then being stuck with it.
