Question on how to use the REST API without Python

Hello!

I am trying to programmatically access data from enviPath using the REST API. While these API docs list the available commands, I could not find any examples on how to use the API from the command line, or how to build the address to the different endpoints.

I also tried to back-engineer it from the Python API, but I didn't get that far. In practice I would like to retrieve information like nodes/edges of each pathway using the REST API on command line, and later adapt it to R for a current project.

Also, is this code from the README still relevant, or is the beta version now released?

You can find the API Docs here

To use it you'll need an account at https://envipath.org

You can either automatically generate a client or use this repo via:

eP = enviPath('https://envipath.org/api/legacy/', new_api=True)
eP.login(<username>, <password>)

We are in the process of a system migration. Once its done we'll do a release.

Hi @lorsbach, I tried to use the library to connect to envipath with credentials but It not working,
To give you context I was using google colab, to run the code and my credentials are working for enviPath web.
but while trying to connect as you mentioned above I am getting error.
