Async's get request method

If I want to use Async's get request, do I have to create an AsyncClient to implement it instead of directly calling the Async get method?

Yeah. httpx.get is the sync function. There isn't an async version of it.

async with httpx.AsyncClient() as client:
    response = await client.get("https://example.com")

Make the client once and reuse it. A new AsyncClient per call throws away the connection pool.
