Sure. Either profile the openijg or create few jstack thread dumps and attach them here. Also you can enable UI Freeze Monitor in preferences and share the log file. |

Well, I got a stack dump for the hang. Noticed some frames were in a text editor, closed all editors and voila the delay was gone. Opened a good number of editors again but the delay didn't return. Pretty sure I only had C++ editors open when I noticed the issue, about 20. I'll report back if the issue comes back |

As the title says. Noticed after updating to 2026-06. I have a big workspace with tens of thousands files in it. Opening the search dialog for the first time takes a couple of minutes, the UI is locked up nothing shows up in the progress view. I see a CPU core is pegged. I disabled all search tabs but the File Search, didn't help. Subsequent open of the dialog is fast. This is the C/C++ Eclipse package if it matters. Is there anything that can be done?
