LaTeX Font Warning: Size substitutions with differences

On Fedora all make script breaks with warning:

LaTeX Font Warning: Size substitutions with differences
(Font) up to 1.0pt have occurred.

The script does not break, it's just a warning. To avoid it, use a better font like lmodern.
Insert
\usepackage{lmodern}% http://ctan.org/pkg/lm
to the packes section in slides.tex

Or scale all fonts with:
\usepackage{anyfontsize}
