How should it be invoked?

What is the right way to invoke the lambda? Should it be a trigger from each input stream?

I am also having a tough time understanding how the trigger works. giving a destination fails with an error "Can not find function with name 'outStream' in the local account".
Is the repo active? I see some questions open for 3 years without any updates.
